University of Sharjah organized its first international conference on Excellence in Business, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, and President of the University of Sharjah. International conference on Excellence in Business was held at Sharjah University from May 9to10, 2012.

This international conference is aimed to offer an opportunity for researchers from around the globe to deliberate on these challenges, to share their experiences, and to exchange and build-up on each other’s’ ideas. This conference attended by numbers of students and scholars from all over the world.

The highlight of the event was Nobel Prize winner Muhammad yunus from Bangladeshi economist who developed the concept of microcredit and microfinance delivered a keynote speech to the students of University of Sharjah

Being keen toward the betterment of the future business community of fthe UAE, Falcon pack became a Platinum Sponsor of the event. Falcon also shared technical knowledge & insight by presenting an implemented excellence model with a paper called “Organizational and Technical Excellence through bottom of Pyramid”

Falcon pack received the sponsor recognition award by the Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi.

Falcon Pack has recently participated in Africa Big Seven which was held at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesberg on July 15. Africa’s Big Seven (AB7) is the continent’s largest Food and Beverage industry trade event attracting exhibitors from around the world keen to tap into the growing buying power of Africa's 800 million consumers. It is the second time the company partakes in this event along with 750 exhibitors from 35 countries.

His Excellency Hamad Hareb Al Habssi, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of South Africa, initiated the UAE pavilion at the 'Africa Big Seven 2012' exhibition. Co-ordinated by Dubai Exports, the export promotion agency of the Dubai Department of Economic Development (DED), in association with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development and Sharjah Free Zones Authority. The UAE pavilion at the three-day exhibition features manufacturers and suppliers in the food, packaging and related sectors.

"The UAE and the African continent have a long history of trade relations and new avenues are opening up to take our engagement to the next level. It is commendable to see government agencies from the various emirates in the UAE joining forces to make the most of this opportunity," commented the UAE Ambassador. Falcon Pack has asserted its presence and considers its participation a success. It showcased a big range of products and made new affiliations within the fast-emerging African markets. Overall, the experience was satisfactory and Falcon Pack is highly anticipating the next event.

Wednesday, February 29, 2012 Falcon Pack has officially inaugurated a new sale center in Ajman.

The world’s largest annual food and hospitality trade event “Gulfood” was held at Dubai World trade Centre from February 19 to 22, 2012. The Dubai Export Development Corporation (EDC) has organized the Dubai Pavilion at Emballage 2010, Paris, France. The international event has attracted around more than 100,000 buyers for sourcing with 1500 vendors from 47 countries participating in this event.

Falcon Pack has participated in this event and showcased the products in the Dubai Pavilion. EMBALLAGE 2010 has staged in 3 halls at Paris Nord Villepinte from Monday 22 to Thursday 25 November 2010 and it has allowed wide participation from all the industry players for information exchanges, demonstrations and the presentations.

Within the cultural capital of the UAE, a host of five-star chefs are gearing up for two consecutive weekends of exotic tastes and lively entertainment along the Sharjah waterfront. The Festival includes a number of vibrant food kiosks, representatives from Al Qasba’s many permanent eateries, live shows and interactive cooking seminars.

Falcon Pack wins the 2009 Sharjah Economic Excellence Award (SEEA) for the Large Enterprises Category Winners of the 2009 Sharjah Economic Excellence Award (SEEA) were honoured in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qassimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and H.H. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Salem Al Qassimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, during an award ceremony held on the 26th May 2010.

Gulfood is an international exhibition conducted in Dubai every year during Feb 27 – March 2.

This year, the event showcased with the participation from 81 countries and 25 specialist companies.
